Twins player poses with students

On November 6th, 2018, students at Frank Borman Elementary School were treated to some baseball and inspiration. Two MLB players from the Minnesota Twins visited Ms. Courtney Bissell’s 8th-grade classroom. The baseball players talked about their own success stories while inspiring students to follow their own dreams. The players also talked about how to define success in school and beyond. Students will be treated to an Arizona Fall League game in November. Founder and Director of The Extra Innings Foundation, Dr. Lynn R. Miller, connects MLB players with students around the state.  Cartwright is proud to partner with the nonprofit.
